The crab claw is a peculiar type of carving that comes with very interesting meanings. One of the Chinese beliefs, by wearing or carrying the crab claw signifies "pinching" the wealth from all directions. This particular piece is carved very intricately with fine details such as the tiny crab on top of the pincer. The texture of the jadeite is very fine with no rough inclusions or cotton can be found. Great translucency and have a great waxy texture that shows the quality of the jade being used.
