Grapes are one of the auspicious carvings in jadeite. The most popular belief in wearing a grape carving is 多子多福 which means to have many descendants or offspring means to have many blessings and prosperity. Grape often comes in a bundle with many seeds. Thus, with such great meaning behind it. Another meaning in wearing grape jadeite is from a Chinese idiom called 一本万利, with little costs comes great profit.
This particular grape jadeite jade is in lavender or purple in colour, which greatly signifies the grape colour with a dash of gold yellow jadeite spot on one of the seeds. The texture of this grape jadeite is really fine with no crystal formation structure. The grape jadeite jade is set with 18K hook setting. Gold chain is not included.
