A very fine Ruyi scepter jade lock. This piece speaks for itself as one of the higher ends of jadeite quality. The color of this piece differs according to the lighting it is exposed to but it carries a slight pale purple especially in the pictures. Ruyi head or locks often symbolises longevity and a form of symbol to the meaning "may things go as the wearer wish". This piece has excellent carving skills and the texture of this jade piece is exceptionally fine. The heart ruyi also have specs of green flower marbling at some parts. Set in a very simple 18K white gold to not hinder its natural beauty. The last two pictures are taken under natural light setting.
