Lotus carving with Twin Fish carvings has multiple meanings. One of the most significant meaning is 年年有余 (nian nian you yu - to have abundance every year) which sounds very close to 莲莲有鱼 (lian lian you yu - There is a fish on the lotus). This jadeite piece has a very fine texture, with jelly-like consistency. Very lively carving depicting both the fishes and lotus flower. No cracks or veins can be observed. The jadeite piece has a beautiful pastel green in colour. A great piece to be worn to welcome a new year.
