It is often said that men should wear Guan Yin and the women should wear the Buddha. It is believed that Guan Yin could calm and stabilize emotions and temper. This particular Goddess of Mercy carved piece is intricately carved in showing the elegance of the Goddess of Mercy. The texture of this piece is icy with great translucency. No major cottons, lines, and veins can be seen. A touch of the striking green stroke highlights the entire the jadeite piece.
