Leaf often represents be prosperous in business 事叶(业)有成 or as a lady 金枝玉叶 being beautiful and young. It is quite a popular carving in jade. This piece has high transparency being an ice type of jadeite. The texture within the jade is very fine and smooth with little to no crystal like formation. The jadeite piece has reached a jello like consistency with a certain glow. This can be seen clearly in the last two pictures under natural light setting.
